Known for their blissful vocals, luxurious harmonies and driving guitars Stu & Debs Hanna AKA MEGSON, burst onto the UK acoustic music scene in 2004. Ten albums & one thousand shows later they have established themselves as “A force in the folk revival” The Observer.
They have released a single to gloriously tie in with that evet that has stopped the world at the moment, about Jackie Freeman.
At 61 Jackie Freeman, or Jackie ‘Grealish’ to her team mates, is the oldest top level female footballer in the UK. Aged 19 she was scouted by the England ladies coach and asked to join the squad. But without the money for the bus fare to the training camp she had to turn it down. Forty years later she dusts off her boots and starts playing again, not knowing it would lead back straight back into top level football. This is Jackie’s story.
