Weekend Tickets go on sale for HebCelt 2023 this Friday

Oct 26, 2022

Internationally renowned and well-loved music festival HebCelt* has announced the release of weekend tickets for its 2023 edition, held on the Isle of Lewis between 12th and 15th July.

Going on sale at 10am on Friday 28th October 2022, the HebCelt 2023 weekend tickets are expected to go quickly, as early bird tickets for the event sold out in just four hours – a new record for the festival.

Loyal Hebridean audiences and music fans from across the globe, including Canada and New Zealand, have already snapped up tickets to next year’s event which will, as always, showcase the very best of Scotland’s musical talent from its stunning location under the shadow of Lews Castle in Stornoway.

HebCelt successfully bounced back from the pandemic, with the 25th anniversary enjoying record attendance, and bringing a £4.2 million boost to the Lewis economy. Organisers hope to build on the cultural and economic benefits of the festival in 2023.

Weekend tickets will be available for £120, with a range of concessions available, and will give ticket holders access to the main arena from Thursday to Saturday. More than 35 artists will take to the HebCelt stage, with an exciting 26th edition line up set to be announced this autumn.

HebCelt Festival Director, Graham MacCallum, said: “It is incredibly exciting to announce the release of weekend tickets for HebCelt 2023. We have been hugely encouraged by the positive response to the early bird ticket sales, and anticipate the weekend tickets to prove just as popular. We would urge all those who are hoping to attend the event to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment and guarantee their space.

“HebCelt 2023 is shaping up to be just as exciting as the 2022 festival, and we hope to match, if not better, its beneficial impact on the community of Lewis next July. We can’t wait to welcome old and newcomers to the event and look forward to seeing them on the green.”

Next year’s HebCelt will take place 12-15 July 2023 with a line up to be announced this autumn. For the latest news, sign up to the festival mailing list:
