That’s A Wrap Then

Feb 21, 2025

The final four acts at the 2025 Shrewsbury Folk Festival have been announced daily on Facebook and other social platforms this week. However the ever excitable, but hard working press office have released the news generally in one handy package. Joining a bill already stacked with stars and easily one of the best festival roll calls of 2025 are…

Holy Moly & The Crackers (above) out of their hiatus for an EXCLUSIVE show! Folk-rock at its finest, they promise a blistering live show for their first ever visit to Shrewsbury. Catch ’em on Saturday August 23rd.

This Flight Tonight – The Songs of Joni Mitchell (Friday August 22nd & Saturday August 23rd). Acclaimed singer songwriters Zervas & Pepper lead this intimate acoustic tribute to the music of one of the most influential singer songwriters in recent folk history.

This Flight Tonight; Close your eyes and Joni’s alongside.

Completing their 2025 line-up are world music trio Touki and duo Sam Kelly and Jamie Francis, both taking to the stage on Monday August 25th.

Tickets are flying out for this year’s festival with sales several months ahead of this time last year!

If you want to secure your place at the party but spread the cost, check out their  monthly payment plan – if you book before the end of February, you can pay for ALL tickets (day and weekend) across five monthly payments. There’s more information about tickets and on the payment plan and how it works at their website address below*.

Wise words, heed them. As Sir Fred Pontin used to say…” book early.” After all you want to avoid disappointment at all costs.
