Roving Crows Release New Video Before Nov/Dec Tour Dates

Nov 3, 2023

Roving Crows are an Irish Folk Rock band based in Herefordshire & Worcestershire. The Crows are a MUST SEE live act; a mix of fiery fiddle playing and conscious lyrics alongside driving drums and bass. The band were formed in 2009 with the current line up playing together since 2019, the group have toured tirelessly across the UK, over to Australia, France and the Netherlands.

Consisting of  Paul O’Neill (guitar and lead vocals); Caitlin Barrett (fiddle & vocals); Laurence Aldridge (drums & vocals) and Jim Smith (bass & vocals), their passion and energy on stage is infectious, never failing to deliver a great time with their vibrant live show!  Their music pushes the boundaries of the Irish Folk genre, their jumping jigs and reels will get you dancing whilst their enquiring and provocative lyrics will make you think.

The band released their 4th album AWAKEN in 2022 and received extensive radio play across the UK as well as 4* reviews for their work.  The album was fully funded by a National Lottery Project Grant.

They have now released a video for a vibrant, energetic and frenetic new version of Dirty Habits (originally released in 2012). It’s a story of a raucous night out, a take of wild abandon, with “money in my pocket, burning a hole, where it all will end, nobody knows!” The Irish rockers will get you in the mood for a wild night out in no time. This video was filmed at the Old Con Club, Malvern, Worcestershire. With help from fans & friends who contributed massively to *the craic witnessed in these scenes”. Filmed and produced by the brilliant Root Stone Media –  and with the music produced and recorded by Dave Draper Socials:

The band have gone from strength to strength and their signature sound is as strong as ever. This Irish group seamlessly marry humour, provocative lyrics , traditional Irish tunes and rock to entertain and bring the listener on a ride that they won’t want to get off! They make a hell of a noise for 4 people –  so join their party and se them live at one of their autumn gigs.
