Roving Crows Release Hard Hitting Video to Accompany Modern Anti-War Song

Jan 30, 2024

The fiery and enigmatic Irish Rock band, Roving Crows have released a hard hitting video to coincide with their latest single ‘Move Over’.

Released on Friday, the song captures the band’s raw energy, with the Hereford/Worcester based Irish group pushing forward their views on war, government, greed and corruption.  The 4 piece are a power-house featuring Paul O’Neill (lead vocals & guitar); Caitlin Barrett (vocals & fiddle); Jim Smith (vocals & bass) and Laurence Aldridge (vocals & drums).

Filmed and produced by their bass player Jim Smith the video reflects the powerful lyrics.  Paul O’Neill from the band said, “We created this song at a time of growing global tensions and conflicts. We stand up against war, oppression and the horrific treatment of humans that we are currently witnessing.  This is not ok and will never be ok.  We are strong advocates of equality and cultural respect and we feel this song reflects our views and vision”

Over the last 10 years Roving Crows have performed all over the UK, across France and into the Netherlands. With highlights being Costa del Folk in Portugal, Australian Celtic Music Festival, Elfia Festival in the Netherlands, Devauden Festival and Nozstock to name a few. The band continue touring throughout 2024.

‘Move Over’ was recorded and mixed at The Old Cider Press in Pershore by Dave Draper.
