The Roving Crows have been carving out their niche in the UK folk music scene since early 2009.
Formed in 2009 by Caitlin Barrett and Paul O’Neill , the Roving Crows have been performing for over ten years, and despite evolving incarnations, they have cultivated an arresting, singular sound that pushes the boundaries of the Celtic Folk genre. The band play with genuine passion, energy and soul. Vital and vibrant, a must-see live act who showcase a mix of fiery, Celtic-inspired fiddle, conscious, intelligent lyrics, backed by solid, thumping rhythms and driving, innovative bass. Roving Crows tour extensively across the UK and France, taking on injustice and societal imbalance with their lyrics and always creating a vibrant atmosphere with their lively show. Roving Crows comprises; strong lead vocals (Paul O’Neill Vocals /Guitar and Caitlin Barrett vocals / fiddle) and 4 part harmonies, guitar, fiddle, bass and drums.(Jim Smith Bass Vocals and Laurence Aldridge (Percussion / vocals )
Their energetic and exciting brand of Celtic Folk Rock has captivated festival audiences, as well as numerous headline appearances in France & Ireland, alongside a tour in 2018 to Australia.
