Megson Spring Tour Dates and EP Release

Known for their blissful vocals, luxurious harmonies and driving guitars Megson burst onto the UK acoustic music scene in 2004. Thirteen albums & over one thousand shows later they have established themselves as “A force in the folk revival” The Observer.
Megson’s 2025 TO GET HOME (EP) sounds like something new for them.

The title track, they say, is about change, how hard the acceptance of it can be and how it feels to look back on where you were brought up. They have augmented that track with a cover of the ultimate road song – Jimmy Webb’s The Highwayman as well as a no holds barred reworking of the traditional folk ballad The Welcome Sailor.
Here’s a sneaky preview ….
Back on the road this Spring they will be joined by double bass legend John Parker (Nizlopi) on a tour not to be missed.
‘The most original husband-and-wife duo on the British folk scene.’
