MAVERICK FESTIVAL – ROSIE FLORES, CHANCE MCCOY, THE BROTHER BROTHERS amongst first acts announced.

Feb 26, 2019

Celebrating its 12th anniversary as the UK’s first and finest Americana festival, MAVERICK FESTIVAL returns to Eastern Farm Park on July 5th – 7th, and we are thrilled to announce the first acts confirmed on this year’s lineup.

Maverick Festival is renowned for showcasing the most authentic and talented musicians from both sides of the Atlantic and this year is no exception! Over the past decade organisers have stuck to what they believe in, presenting exciting and inspiring line-ups year after year.

“This year we are pushing the musical boundaries of Americana even further with the addition of some classic Cajun and a Friday night focus on bluegrass.”   PAUL SPENCER – CURATOR.

First up we are pleased to welcome Texan rockabilly and country music artist ROSIE FLORES to the 2019 line up; Rosie’s music blends rockabilly, honky-tonk, jazz, and Western swing along with traditional influences from her Tex-Mex heritage.

Next up we welcome Grammy award-winning artist and multi instrumentalist with the Old Crow Medicine Show, CHANCE MCCOY. His first LP Wander Wide set for release this year is a collection of masterfully written songs woven with threads of folk indie and rock.

Brooklyn-based duo THE BROTHER BROTHERS, comprised of identical twins Adam and David Moss, will be making their Maverick festival debut this year.  Their stunning songcraft blends masterfully gentle guitar, cello and five-string fiddle with the sublime sort of two-part harmonies only brothers can carry.

Next in line, we welcome the return of acclaimed California country band I SEE HAWKS IN LA.  Described as ‘the finest country rock band on the planet” by MOJO magazine, the band channel Gram Parsons, Byrds and Burritos into their singular brand of psychedelic country rock.

Set amongst the picturesque Victorian farm buildings of Easton Farm Park, the site is nestled deep in the Suffolk countryside, yet only two hours from London. The festival presents music performances, film & workshops and features over forty different artists, across five stages indoors and out.
