Sep 19, 2019

Get the tissues ready …. Spiral Award Winners Jamie Smith’s Mabon have announced that they will tour for the last time next year.

In an announcement made today, drummer Iolo said:

Hello Mabonistas – friends, fans and followers all!  We have some big news to share with you: after twenty years of good times, Mabon will be hanging up its boots next autumn.  We have so many good memories of great concerts across the years – it’s been an amazing journey for the band, and for each of us as musicians, and we’re truly grateful for your support and enthusiasm along the way.

We’re happy to add that it’s a thoroughly amicable ending: it’s time for new projects for some of the band, and new chapters for others
