Oysterband: the outfit that grew and grew from punk-ceilidh origins to bring passion, power and not a little poetry to folk and roots music 36 countries later: 5 times BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards winners,14 studio albums, including two cult classics with the great folk diva June Tabor – not counting compilations, Best-Ofs, DVDs, solo projects, or live recordings. Oysterbandstill features the 3 original members and songwriters John Jones (lead vocal), Alan Prosser (guitar, vocal) and Ian Telfer (violin, keyboard), with Al Scott (bass, mandolin, vocal), Adrian Oxaal (cello, guitar, vocal) and Sean Randle (drums).
