Bellowhead Reunite! Socially Distanced Of Course.

Dec 1, 2020

Originally calling it a day in 2016 after a very successful career, various Bellowheads have gone onto solo work, Jon Boden in particular, some joined other groups, Jon Spires in Gigspanner and Benji Kirkpatrick with Steeleye Span or just carried on with whatever they did when Bellowhead wasn’t operating.

Well, if we’re honest, they’ve already had one reunion, even if it was virtual.  You may recall back during spring lock down Bellowhead produced an online version of ‘New York Girls,’ with the added ‘At Home.’ That went so well and it was apparently such a hoot the band have now decided to perform a one off gig in a Covid safe environment as a concert stream live on the world wide web on Saturday Dec 5th at 8pm. ( That’s UK time if you’re reading this from elsewhere.)

Handily that date also marks the 10th anniversary of ‘Hedonism,’ which will reappear in a Limited Edition format to coincide with the gig.

The band explain “Hedonism was such a joyous album to make and the response was so fantastic, that it feels really good to be revisiting it in these difficult times. We’re really looking forward to playing together again and reigniting the party vibe.”

Don’t let the kids near the home computer and put a reserved notice on your sofa of choice now.

‘Hedonism10th Anniversary Edition,’ is out on Navigator.
