Acts announced for 2016 Sark Folk Festival

The Sark Folk Festival committee are pleased to announce the full line‐up of visiting acts for the 2016 festival.

These include Newcastle fusion outfit Monster Ceilidh Band, two‐time BBC 2 Folk Award winners Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, English folk rock six‐piece Mad Dog Mcrea and festival favourites Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson making their 3rd appearance at the event. It also features, as previously announced, the internationally acclaimed, multi‐award winner Sharon Shannon,​p​erforming​w​ith Alan Connor.

Festival organisers confirmed that the line‐up will also include a large number of Channel Island acts as in previous years, including the likes of Buffalo Huddleston and the John Wesley Stone from Guernsey, Kevin Pallot from Jersey and Sark’s very own Big Sheep.

The festival takes place from 1‐3 July 2016.
