Blackbeard’s Tea Party  have turned the page on a defining chapter as they bid a fond farewell to lead singer Stuart Giddens after 15 unforgettable years, but their story is far from over. Their electrifying new single, Stand Up Now, released on 24th April, a glam rock reimagining of the 400-year-old The Diggers’ Song, brilliantly showcases  their new vocalist Amy Kakoura, building from a hushed, tension-laden intro,  before exploding into stratospheric, full-throttle folk rock experience.

Blackbeard’s Tea Party have been performing together for over 17 years, evolving from street buskers to a festival and touring venue favourite. Blending traditional tunes and songs with anarchic glam-rock energy, heavy riffs, and driving rhythms, their high-impact live shows are known for outlandish outfits, choreography, and stage antics.

Following their recent lineup change and new single release, they continue with a busy festival run this summer, including appearances at Tunes in the Dunes, Power Folk Festival, and Gate to Southwell Festival.
