3 Daft Monkeys New Album News & Tour

Mar 1, 2024

With a fiery helter-skelter blend of influences from East and West, 3 Daft Monkeys inject a unique wildness into their music, producing a symphonious cacophony of styles,

Silvery vocal melodies soar above percussive global beats and rhythms while passionate fiddle-driven tunes weave around animated guitar and bass, all presented with outstanding musicianship in their famously theatrical live performances.

This multi-award-winning live act consisting of Tim Ashton ( Vocals, 12-string guitar, penny whistle),   Athene Roberts ( Violin, vocals, accordion),  Jamie Graham ( 6-string bass) and Rich Mulryne ( Bespoke hand percussion kit, vocals) continues to deliver dynamic, rampageous,
powerful performances of their completely original songs with an endless energy and enthusiasm!

With 21 years of International Festival experience in hand, 3 Daft Monkeys certainly know how to work a festival crowd, and are guaranteed to whip an audience into a frenzy of emotions with every performance and are currently crowdfunding and recording songs for for a brand new album.

Here’s what they have to say:

We are very excited to be recording a brand new album, packed with brand new original material. We are currently songwriting in an awesome new rehearsal space, and the energy within the band is electric. We can’t wait to return to Propagation House Studios in rural North Cornwall to get recording again in April. We’ve recorded 2 albums there before, and it’s an awesome space for the creativity to flow, surrounded by woods and sea air.

We are completely independent as a band, and that’s why we’re asking for the support of our amazing fans to help us pay for the production of our album: recording, mixing, mastering, artwork, CD printing and promotion in the form of a Crowdfunder.

We’ve created our own crowdfund page on our website, at . There’s heaps of merchandise available to pre-order, including CDs, downloads, t-shirts, vests, hoodies, bags, tea towels, stickers, decals and badges. As well as this we’re offering some special experiences, including a one-off gig with food and first ‘live’ playing of the album, at an ancient pub by the sea in Cornwall, and a “Pasty and a Pint” listening party to be the first people to hear the recording. You can even donate to come and sing backing vocals in the studio.

To support the release of the new album with the working title ‘Information Camouflage” we have a spring and summer packed full of festival tour dates around the UK, and an Autumn/ Winter UK tour (dates to be released soon)
