Kelli Ali Guest Editor Week

The wonderfully talented Kelli Ali is our guest editor this week and she has some fantastic articles, interviews and music for you to listen to. There is also a free download of one of her songs 'All The Pretty Little Horses'.

In day 1 we have an introduction to Kelli and her music, you can listen to a song and download 'All The Pretty Little Horses' for free.

In day 2 she explores Psych-Folk...

She interviews Sharron Kraus, whose songs are populated by a 'carnival array of fatally charismatic characters, telling tales of enslavement, perversion, incest, obsession, love and death'.

Kelli gives us her top ten current psych-folk albums 'Since discovering the wonderful ‘Wicker Man’ film and soundtrack in the early 90’s, I became fascinated by the darker dreamier side of folk music and have enjoyed discovering some truly remarkable bands over the years, who have shaped and influenced the music of a genre which is known as psyche /Nu folk.'

There is an interview with Jeanette Leach about her new book on the genre called 'Seasons They Change'. Then an interview with Patrick Campbell-Lyons, singer and founder of the psychedelic, symphonic rock band Nirvana.

Today, 'I would like to introduce Spiral Earth readers to some U.K. artists who you may not have heard of but will no doubt find inspirational. They are very magical people and skilled musicians and have created some of the most beautiful music I have heard.'

It is all enthralling reading, click here to jump into another wonderful world...
